ACTIVATED CARBON(CARTRIDGES) FOR TASTE/ODOR
AMETEK'S Granular Activated carbon(GAC) filter cartridges ard designed for effective removal of the tastes and odors of chlorine along with other taste and odors of problems found in water supplies. The cartridges are engineered so the water enters the bottom and is filtered through the entire bed of carbon before exiting at the top. This allows the water the maximum amount of "contact time" with the carbon(the greater the "contact time", the better the absorption).

The cartridges have a polyester screen at the bottom end and spun poly post filter to trap sediment particles along with Buna-N gaskets at each end designed to effect a water tight seall.
