TRUNNION TABLES

Trunnion tables have a longitudinal or horizontal rotational axis. The Peiseler series ATC and AWU are built with worm gears. While the ATC series is designed to be compact and modular for small frame sizes, and can also be used as a table, the AWU series has a very solid and rigid housing for high, tilting loads or for heavy-duty metal-cutting requirements. Faceplate diameters of less than 500 mm are the domain of the ATCs; larger faceplates are reserved for the AWUs. The boundaries are fluid.

The AWD series has a direct drive, since the design focus is on a high motor torque. The AWR trunnion tables, however, are equipped with pre-loaded gear drives.
