Loading and unloading during machining are possible thanks to the 180-degree pendulum workpiece changing tables. The machine tool productivity increases considerably as a result, and the cost per workpiece significantly decreases. The turning movement is realized by a pneumatic thrust cylinder. A Hirth coupling guarantees the high precision. During the position change, a pneumatic cylinder lifts up the faceplate by a few millimetres. A NC machine axis is not required for its operation.
